The audio visual system currently gives no real input into the autonomous control of the robot. It's just to allow a remove view of the robots surroundings.

The video feed can be broadcast onto the webpage, which in conjunction with the HCS means that autonomous or remote control can be viewed from the web.

It would be possible to take the visual input and feed that into an image processing system to extract further environment data...a project for another day! :)
